Grand Final Season 2 - Sunday, 17 December 2006

  Our 2nd Pro League Grand Final went off amazingly well! With a total Prize Pool at nearly $70,000 including the Pro Season prizes, it was always going to be a strongly contested event!

Peter Salamon ended up as our 2nd WA Poker League Grand Champion, taking out the 246 player Grand Final, and with it $21,783.00, the WAPL Grand Champion Medallion worth over $5000.00, and the Silver Grand Final Championship Trophy! Congratulations Peter!

With the top 24 players getting in the money, this beat our inaugural Grand Final to be the biggest Texas Hold 'Em event in WA History, with next Season almost certain to smash that record yet again!

We'd like to thank our WAPL Team and all those involved in the event, for helping us run such a professional tournament with so many players! Great job!

We hope you had fun this season, and look forward to seeing you in Season 3, set to commence officially on January 15, 2007!
