Welcome to WAPL Season 11!

With a great new venue, and more chances to play and win, we're looking forward to another great season!

Our new venue to check out is the Cambridge Bowling Club on Thursdays from 17th Sept! This awesome venue is sure to attract a crowd to its beautiful room and bar facility.

Get started on your point tally now, to guarantee your seat in the Pro or Free League Grand Finals, to be held in early December at the end of the season! Remember, Top 5 overall Pro players win cash prizes ($3000 to first!), with the Top 10 getting their Grand Final buy-in for free! Top 100 get $100 off their Pro Grand Final buy-in, and Top 240 qualify for a seat!

For our Free League players, top 40 overall get a free re-entry into the Grand Final if they bust out early, identical to the standard passport system! Top 240 Free League get a seat in the Free Grand Final.

Whichever League you play in, it's worth keeping an eye on your ranking throughout the season. Help add to the fun filled competition that is WA Poker League!

New Season Changes -

• After the 5th and 10th weeks of Season, the Top 10 from each Pro venue exclusively qualify to our Rake Free Tournaments, held at the end of each of those 5 week periods. These are $50 buy-in tournaments where the entire $50 goes to the cash prize pool for the day! For the first 5 weeks ending 27th September, the Rake Free Tournament will be held at Coronation Hotel on the 4th October, 12pm Rego, 1pm Start. For the second 5 weeks ending 1st November, the Rake Free Tournament will be held at Coronation Hotel on the 8th November, 12pm Rego, 1pm Start!Please be aware that there IS a seat limit at these events, and seats are on a first come first registered basis. Make sure you get in as soon after registration opens as possible to secure your seat!

• The Top Placed Venue Players no longer receive the $200 buy-in to the Grand Final for free. The majority of these players already made the top 10 overall OR at least the top 100, so instead, all of the $200 Top Venue prizes will be pooled together into a Venue Championship Pool, to be played for in a Venue Championship by just those Venue winners on the Monday after the Grand Final. This will be held at the Paddington Alehouse tournament on the 7th December, and will be a great opportunity for those who won each Pro Venue through the season to face-off and play for a great prize pool! No buy-in for the Championship Tournament, and the only qualifying players are those who win a Pro Venue for the Season!
