Season 16 Grand Final Results
The Season 16 Grand Finals were held over Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September.
Saturday at South Fremantle saw the first day of the 2 day Pro Grand Final, and the Free League Grand Final!
From a field of 34 starters, we saw a fast actioned Free League ending with a final 3 who play regularly at different venues fighting it out!

With chip stacks ranging from 10,000 to 55,000 going into day 2, and blinds wound back to 500/1000, the final 23 set off!
We saw an amazing number of pocket aces on the final day, with at least 8 counted between the last 3 and final tables! In a day dominated by pocket pairs, we saw a lot of great poker, huge laydowns, massive river wins, and even a straight flush vs Ace high flush vs King high flush on the cash table!
When we hit final table of 8, the blinds were wound back once more, and the players (already in the money) sat down on the WAPL Grand Final Table to play for their share of the cash, ranging from $424 for 8th to an awesome $10,592 first prize!
