Macau Day 3 Update - Team WAPL Round-up!

Robert Browne has finished 29th in the Macau Poker Cup Championship, winning just under $40,000HKD! After a rollercoaster ride early in the tournament, Rob struggled back from under 10,000 in chips right up to over 100,000 in day 3! After an incredible hand with pocket kings vs pocket queens, Rob's kings flopped a set on the flop, with the queens flopping a club flush draw. The turn came a queen for set over set, but unfortunately for Rob the 3 of clubs on the river knocked him out!

Well done Rob, you've done WAPL proud and have proven just how far you've come with your poker skills!

Congratulations to the 11 total Team WAPL members who made it to the MPCC Main event, the biggest number yet to make the event - Rob, Luke, Darren, Jill, Frank, Matt S, Archie W, Amos, Jason, Damien, and Mat L!

Players who made it through to Day 2 were Rob, Jill, Luke, Matt S and Darren!

Congratulations also to Jill Maley, who cashed in 4th place overall in the Macau Poker Cup Championship Ladies event! This is her second cash in the ladies event in two years, and she was unlucky to run into pocket kings to be knocked out after a big comeback!

Team WAPL has their farewell dinner, with more drinks and partying tonight, and a couple more days before their return to Perth.

We all look forward to catching up with the other members back home and telling you many of our stories!
