PoCA Donates $35,000 to Princess Margaret Hospital!

On September 9th, 2011, Poker for Charity (PoCA) Chairman David Nixon presented a cheque for $35,000 to Ian de Nazareth from Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) to finish their fundraising for the purchase of a surgery microscope to be used to treat eye problems in children, before going to the surgery to meet PMH Surgeon Kate, who explained what the new microscope would be used for in more depth.

Without the support of our players, PoCA and other organisations would not be able to raise funds through poker to contribute back into the Western Australian Community's Health and Welfare needs in ways such as this.
