Season 17 Pro Grand Final Results

In an amazing weekend where we saw pocket aces hold every time they seemed to be in a hand, it was only fitting that the final hand of the Season 17 Pro Grand Final was won with pocket aces flopping a set!

We started with 67 players on day 1 at South Fremantle Football Club, this number dwindling to 23 headed into day 2 at the Albion Hotel.

Of those final 23, the final table of 8 got in the money, and we saw for the first time at WAPL a chop on final table between the final 4 players. Colin Wilford, Ryan Dyson, Darren Mundy and Mathew Lyons (Team WAPL Macau x2) split to take $3000 each, and played it out for the remaining $718 1st place, which Darren won with his pocket aces!
