    Upcoming Season 20 Changes!
There's more positive changes coming to WAPL Season 20.
We have spoken with many members, and had a great meeting to go over concerns and ideas for improvements! Thanks to all our members who have contributed towards this, we appreciate the time and effort you've made.

We are happy to announce the following changes to Season 20:
    - The top 5 players through the season win their $200 buy-in to the Season Grand Final. The winner of the season wins the Pro Season Championship Trophy. 1st-3rd will no longer receive cash prizes, and this is returned to the Grand Final prize pool.
  • - The Poker for Charity Challenge has got off to a great start, and can now stand on its own feet as a major poker fundraising event. The bonus for the PoCA Challenge will be removed, adding that back to the Season 19 Grand Final prize pool.
  • - The Tournament of Champions will be returned to its former prize winning glory, with a new structure! Winner of each venue wins a $100 entry to the Tournament of Champions, with the 2nd place player given the option to enter the Tournament of Champions for a $100 buy-in. The Tournament of Champions Trophy will still be up for grabs to the winner!
  • - Our regular event structures have been accepted widely and seem to be offering a great experience for most players, so they will be kept at a $25/$20 buy-in for Pro.

In these changes, we are hoping to bring a more fun venue ladder rivalry back into the League structure, and put more emphasis on this in addition to the overall League Ladder, rather than forgetting it.
We sincerely hope you enjoy the new changes, and hope to see you back from Monday 3rd September for the start of Season 20!
