Team WAPL Macau Update

Well all the WAPL Team have arrived safely, avoiding the Typhoon that is ravaging the region. The possibility of being "Locked In" the City of Dreams seemed a good idea!! On the playing front Darren Rudrum has had more bad beats than he needs, Dave Irwin not far behind him, but Steve King and Murray Rhodes have both run deep in events so far. Success has been forthcoming in Macau again for Jill Maley with her cards starting to hold on Tuesday winning her Main Event seat in a HK$1200 Sat in the afternoon, then getting unlucky when in front with AK v QJ to double bubble the cash in Event #5 the 3K Turbo. Frank ran deep in the same event, going out a bit before Jill when his A10 ran into AA, but he has been running well after winning his M/E seat on Sunday and getting close in two later satellites for Main Event seats worth HK$11,000 each. Wednesday is Day 1A and all 6 WAPL Members will be playing with the numbers expected to exceed 600 for the 19th Red Dragon Poker Championship. Hopefully we can see our record of 1 Final Table appearance exceeded this time around, with a guaranteed prize pool of HK$5,000,000 the payouts will be fantastic. Good Luck to all 6 WAPL players today, and watch the WAPL Facebook for updates. Team WAPL Macau
